Jimmy Valiant had success early in his career as one-half of the Valient Brothers, a duo that held the WWWF Tag Team titles for a full year.

During much of the the 80's, Jimmy wrestled for the NWA as the "Boogie Woogie Man", a beared, dancing babyface.

Valiant was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 1996 alongside his kayfabe brother, Johnny.
