Working Vending Machines

描述
Buy drinks and snacks from powered vending machines using money. One dollar for one random product. Product will appear in the machine container after purchase. To be consistent with this new behaviour, products will no longer spawn in the container at the start of the game. Works on new games only. Multiplayer supported. No support for other mods.

Language support: Chinese Traditional (TW_Billy), English, French (Alexette), Italian (Lollo11), Japanese (miko), Korean (KimLeon), Polish (?ukasz), Portuguese Brazilian (trichogaster), Russian (ElizTriad), Spanish (Inferno), Thai (RUN 90s), Turkish (Recep İvedik)

This is still a work in progress. Potential improvements:
  • Selectable products
  • Random stuck product
  • Kick / shake machine -> chance to receive stuck product; chance of alarm
  • Force open vending machine -> receive money and product

@Monkey Magic I cleaned up the name of the mod, which might be why it is not recognised by an old save. It's still basically the same code otherwise. You may be able to remove the old listing from the mod list and add the most recent version.

@DisgracedPilot - Did a recent update make this mod no longer compatible with old save files?

I have an older save file but this mod is shown as red in the modlist. It actually shows up in the list as \2934155949/WorkingVending rather than Working Vending Machines as well.

Any chance we might see a mod created providing a weapons ammunition vending machine? Average cost during 1993 for 50 bullets (one_box) of the 9mm bullets was around 8 dollars. Easy to identify the price of other boxes during 1993.

@Nonan Yes, and the number of items is random for each machine. Some may be empty.

There is no Base.WaterBottleFull when trying to spawn it from the vending machine. It seems the item code name might have been changed. Also, after uninstalling and reinstalling the vending machine, its products appear to reset.

@Rachel L Unfortunately, I can't guarantee that this will work with other mods.
