There's so many threads on different platforms talking about this tree, and also the one in the northernmost cannibal village. The cause is the same in both cases: a stupidly low no-foliage range. If you want that tree gone, you need to mod this value to something a lot higher.
What I can't figure out is why the tier 1 well which already existed in Sho-Battai always has 100 water available when the local water availability is only 10. Sometimes the wells I placed have 100 water available, but they always revert to the amount they're supposed to have, which is good because I didn't want this mod to be overpowered. The new wells aren't meant to be a better alternative to building your own water source, just AN option. The other reason was for immersion. I like to imagine that the townsfolk use these wells for their daily needs so it's as though they actually live there instead of just being animated props.
