The Butcher

A masked man attacked Hulk Hogan at Halloween Havoc 1994 and revealed himself as Ed Leslie. Leslie became known as The Butcher, a darker take on his former Brutus Beefcake gimmick. He joined the Faces of Fear, a stable locked in a long feud with the Hulkster.

Hogan defeated The Butcher at Starrcade a few months later. In spring 1995, The Butcher gimmick was dropped, ushering in a few years of Leslie working through several mostly forgettable gimmicks.
