Stockholm Royal Palace

The royal palace in Stockholm. Made for my Sthlm1925 project.

The medieval castle Tre Kronor from late 13:th century was destroyed in a fire in 1697. The new palace (this model) was completed in 1754. It is the official residence of the swedish monarch.

This is a very large building. The main square building is 124 x 117 meters (or about 16x15 squares in the game), and the wings are 48 x 16 meters (6 x 2 squares) each, plus the two curved wings. Also, the real building sits on a hill, so it seemed inpractical to create it as one piece. So: since this is from Sweden, you will have to do some assembly yourself.

Although the model is lagre, it's pretty low poly. Which means it doesn't look great if you get very close, and there is no normal map, sorry. Still, this took a while to texture.

I made the wings as props, and I used the academic library as template for the main building.

The rest of the stairs, ramps and archways are in a separate pack. You will have to do a bit of scaling and stretching if you want everything as IRL. So the mods "move it" and "procedural objects" are highly recommended.

Technical stuff:
The four models in this pack have identical textures (d, s, i, a) 2048x2048, lod (d,s,i) 256x256. Use loading screen mod to save memory.
