---What is Subfactions?---

Subfactions are a mod series with the focus on giving the base factions of Reassembly a fresh coat of paint, and an alternate take on them to give people a whole other way to try their favourites. The changes will push the pros and cons of the default faction in a new direction, via changing their statistics for weapons, thrusters, and even in some cases removing or adding new blocks!


---Who are the Outcasts?---
Shunned, Shamed, but not resigned to fate, the outcasts are scrappers and scavangers of those who were forgotten or cast out by Reds. Any thoughts of honour or redemption replaced with simple survival, cutting through whatever they can gain the upper hand on. Now the outcasts have enough to forge their own faction, and are finally pushing back into the galaxy anew

---How do they play?---
The outcasts will offer a challenging early game, as much like with reds, their ships are small and fragile- but the outcasts amplify this with a focus on being up close, or at range with little inbetween- gone are the nanoassembler drones and in their place the Tsunami missile launcher to help your ranged focuses, and for those who want to be up close, the fang hull block is a great ramming tool, especially when combined with the Maser- A weapon with small range, high damage and a slight pull on its targets. There is a silver lining if this seems like suffering; the Salavage workshop, a resource producer which compliments the higher resource storage Outcasts have

Outnumber and ambush your foes, scrap them, and turn those into their undoing!
