HIMS Crown Princess Sophia

One of the most modern ships in the fleet, Sophia belongs to a class of ship that almost never was, marred by admiralty disagreements along its entire development until it eventually reached service. Far surpassing the original requirements for a mere coastal cruiser, the shallow draft and heavy secondary armament placed in each broadside allows the Crown Princess to traverse the treacherous waters of the intermarium, and ensure it can outgun any smaller vessels that may do the same. With only two guns in its main battery, the class is near-helpless against other capital ships, but it was never intended to stay within their range. Unlike older ships, a heavy anti-aircraft armament is also installed, ensuring protection against the land-based bombers likely to threaten it- and keeping it in use as a floating flak battery when in port.
