Railway 2 is a network package which is packed with numerous new features, while maintaining the existing features of original Railway 1 project. It also brings new types of networks such as quads and mainlines. Check Railway 2 Guide in the collection, linked above.

About this pack

2 'physical' bridge assets of 1 and 2 lanes, with Black color. Through girder bridges are another common type of overpass and bridges used across US rail infrastructure.

While the pack has 2 bridges, it actually has 8. This is possible with Adaptive Networks, as you can customize the bridge look with features listed below. A new embankment and pillar is made for this pack, which is more suitable for river crossings. That said, girders use same textures from original deck bridge pack, thus you'll have no extra load on RAM.

Combined with 3 wire standards (European, American, no Wires), you're getting 12 combination per network, total 24 for both lane types.



- TEXTURE SHARE: All networks share textures with each other- minimizing RAM use. Actual load on RAM: About 5MB as you have new pillar.
- Through Girders: 1 and 2 lanes
- Auto abutment, guardrails: Supported by both types, available for standard R2 and Mainline R2 networks.
- Wire Support: R2 USA and R2 EUR (Vanilla)

--- Wires (R2 EUR): Can be enabled via Adaptive Networks. Catenaries will spawn based on your selection in Railway Replacer styler. You can override this by using Network Skins 2.
--- Wires (Disabled): Removes all wires
- Bridge Structure Variants
--- Ballastless: Metal exposed structure with wooden sleepers and support beams.
--- Ballasted: Theme gravel texture, that is consistent with R2 networks.
--- End caps: Can be used to 'cap' the ends of the girder structure for single segment.
--- Abutment Extension: Can be used to expand abutment.
