---What is Subfactions?---

Subfactions are a mod series with the focus on giving the base factions of Reassembly a fresh coat of paint, and an alternate take on them to give people a whole other way to try their favourites. The changes will push the pros and cons of the default faction in a new direction, via changing their statistics for weapons, thrusters, and even in some cases removing or adding new blocks!


---Who are the Hegemony?---
The Crystalline's home of the galactic core is full of riches and perils, creating a risk and reward desire- settle in the depths of the galaxy for valuable resources if you can deal with the hostile environment; Now the Hegemony has been born to expand out of the core, and take more habitable space for their own

---How do they play?---
If you were not a fan of the Crystalline's slow nature, you may find the Hegemony offers that challenge in a new way- their blocks are not only more durable but also denser, meaning you'll need a lot of thrusters if you want to keep them moving quick! The hegemony is also a little more conservative- no Uranium ships or Promethium class for you! The geode ship acts as your station, you won't be able to hide your small fleet behind them as much! To make up for this though the Hegemony has not only a reliable shield and repair laser, but also the prism refractor and shard railgun! While the refractor is a weak but very long range laser, the railgun is a slow firing, even LONGER range hard hitter

Expand the state, and push new frontiers out of your foes own homes!
