描述
The Hǫfuð-class Destroyer Escort is a warship by Valkyrja - Maintenance & Engineering, designed for escort-duties and pack-deployment.

Being rather small in size, the ship comes heavily armed with a quad-barrel railgun assembly and a set of 8 Artillery turrets, arranged in a centerline layout, capable of superfire. This gives the Hofund superior offensive capabilities compared to many other warships in her displacement category, enabling her to engage and overwhelm much larger targets.

A selection of secondary weapons, consisting of 25mm Gatling- and Autocannon-turrets provide the Hofund with a potent defense-screen against smaller attack-craft.

This ship was heavily inspired by "The Expanse" novels and tv-series. It comes with many design-elements from this fandom. This includes an interior that is aligned perpendicular to the main source of thrust and the Thruster-layout leans heavily towards a 'flip-and-burn'-style of piloting.


This item is survival-ready! It is fully conveyor-linked, thruster-damage compatible and uses no mods and no subgrids!

I have already used the Ridill-class extensively and modified it using AWE to become the centerpiece of our fleet crusher squadron in my server, and I will certainly be replacing her outdated escorts with this lovely model. Well done once more!

Excellent turret placement!

It's a shame that this beauty didn't exist back when I did my original video as I would highly recommend that other content creators check out this amazing creation as an example of "how to do it right".

Really cool looking and well-designed ship.

I'm a server administrator and our players would probably love fighting this. Are you alright with us adding it as an npc for our players? We may need to modify it a b it to fit with our weapons pack.
