The Remote Assignment Portable Integrated-Electrical Railgun system is designed as a powerful support tool, with a variety of uses ranging from convoy protection to demolition. It is mounted on the XLT-290 Vallhund, a mobile extended-operations outpost and control station for the RAPIER system. The cab features a galley to facilitate prolonged missions, and it is fully equipped to operate the RAPIER system from its gunnery station. The RAPIER is the largest and most powerful weapon in its class, greatly outperforming even some ship-based weapons of similar design, but it is extremely bulky even when stripped down, making it a vulnerable target without proper strategy and infantry/convoy support.
