Yes, it's not an infiltrator and better suited for parking in yards of big open alien POIs where the turret could have some reach, or near zirax pois that have infantry spawning next to it - at point blank that turret can't do much. I am looking at designing a more universal pod where this problem is addressed, but it would be a much tighter squeeze, @Yasherrica

Top turret has only limited operational angle (if any at all) have you tested it?
