PDGT - Point Defense Gatling Turret

Designed by Coyote Orbital for close-in combat against small and fast targets, the Point Defense Gatling Turret employs a miniaturized hinge design; this provides both additional armor and a snug fit onto mounts as small as 2.5m x 2.5m. It comes ready to mount onto the conveyors of any existing ship or station and requires only a programmable block or vanilla Custom Turret Controller on the base grid.

Make sure the spot on your ship where you want to mount this turret is relatively flat. You may have to first remove some components or armor and add it back later, or use the extremely based Build Freedom plugin[github.com]. Just paste this turret's azimuth rotor onto that spot.
While it can be used with a custom turret controller, the turret also has groups already set up for the Diamond Dome Defense Script ("DDS Turrets"). Follow the setup instructions provided by Alysius in the guide linked on DDS's workshop page. One or more designators will need to be added to your ship; it is recommended to provide them with similar arcs of fire/views of the surrounding area that you want the given PDCs to cover.
