Hey, in multiplayer the sound is kinda buggy when another player use it :[ and the animation cannot be seen

Does this still work? I jumped off a 3 story building with the paraglider on my back but it did not deploy and i fractured my leg. I was scared to try it on a taller building, my character has survived a year and did not want to risk that.
