Carbon Reactors

Are you tired of using renewable energy in your SE worlds? This mod will add clean burning carbon to your power generation options.

Shale ore has been added to Earthlike, Alien, and Pertam planets. Shale is refined in either the basic or advanced refinery to make carbon ingots. Carbon ingots can then be used to power your choice of two carbon reactors (3-9MW).

The reactors do not require special components, and are ideal for early game use. Just be prepared to refine a lot of shale ore.

This mod uses a script to add the new ore to planets, so if you use other mods that alter or add ores it might have issues working correctly.

Earthlike + Alien:
20-50m below the surface
7-15m deposit height

Pertam:
40-75m below the surface
7-15m deposit height
