A successor to the original gm_cinema, featuring:

• The main cinema building, which contains:
  
  • The main screen room, containing multiple rows of seats, a slot for a large Media Player screen, and toggleable lights
    
  • A control room right above and behind the screen room
    
  • A bathroom
    
  • An employee lounge
• Better textures than in the original gm_cinema
  
• A much better outside area than in the original gm_cinema, featuring:
  
  • An enterable apartment right outside the cinema
    
  • A Media Player large screen slot right outside the cinema for watching videos outside
    
  • A 3d skybox (revolutionary)
    
  • cake
• A couple easter eggs
  
• weed (for real this time)

The map contains custom textures (66), models (1), and sounds (10), all packed into the .bsp

To be able to use Media Player, you need to be on the x64-86 beta branch of Garry's Mod (alternatively the chromium branch)

You can switch to the beta branch by right-clicking Garry's Mod in your Steam library, clicking Properties, heading to Betas, and selecting the x64-86 branch from the dropdown menu.

To set up the screen, open the spawnmenu, head to the Entities tab, open the Media Player tab, spawn the Huge Billboard, and use the physgun to rotate it appropriately.

I did a little oopsie and did not account for the Media Player screen's spawn orientation when making the map, meaning that spawning the screen inside of the screen room will spawn it facing the completely wrong way.

Attempting to rotate the screen into the correct position will smack the chairs all over the room. To prevent this, spawn the screen outside and rotate it appropriately. Then, take out the Duplicator tool, copy the screen, and paste it inside of the screen room.

Additionally, apologies in advance for the bloated map size. Had to make some compromises when importing a few certain audio clips, which bloated the .bsp substantially. If your performance tanks, you can check out gm_cinema_v2_redux
