Gustavo Haus

The Gustavo Haus is a special DDR-era plattenbau near Storkower Strasse in Berlin. It was originally constructed in the 1980's, then renovated with a colorful baked-aluminum façade designed by the Spanish artist, Gustavo, in 1998. It has become an iconic building in the neighborhood and can be easily recognized from the observation deck of the Fernsehturm. For this model, I modified my WHH-GT-18-21 Plattenbau asset by re-baking the textures on to a bigger map and then overlaying my drawing of Gustavo's whimsical design.
