WHH-GT-18-21 Plattenbau

The WHH-GT-18/21 Large Panel Construction Building (Plattenbau) is a GDR-era apartment block. Dozens of them can be found in Berlin, constructed in the 1970's and 80's. One prominent example of this "bauform" (building type) can be found on Fischerinsel, right in the center of Berlin, just south of the museums on Museumsinsel. Many of the brutalist blocks have been renovated, usually having their bare concrete panels covered by steel or painted in various colors.

This model is a modified version of my WHH-GT-18 model from Komplex Holtzmarkstrasse. It's RICO enabled for 160 homes and comes in 16 color combinations:
