Zombies4You is a high-quality zombie enhancement mod for DayZ that transforms the undead into a terrifying, immersive horror experience. Designed with love for iconic horror characters and server performance in mind, this mod introduces a unique blend of re-textured infected, boosted AI, custom sounds, glowing effects, and more.

🔥 Current Features
19+ Custom Zombies: Re-textured from vanilla infected into horror-themed nightmares, inspired by iconic villains from film, pop culture, and original creations—including one based on yours truly, Toppskillz.

AI Tweaks: Zombies have enhanced strength and detection, making them more challenging and engaging opponents.

Custom Soundsets: Each infected includes unique ambient and alert sounds for an immersive and terrifying presence.

4K Re-textures: Select zombies feature high-resolution 4K textures, adding greater detail and realism.

Custom Emissive Maps: Glowing eyes and enhanced emission areas for increased visibility and horror appeal at night.

New Particle Effects: Certain infected now feature unique visual effects during specific states or events (agro, spawn-in, etc.).

Dynamic Visual States: Zombies visually shift based on alert level or proximity to players.

Modular Design: Class-names, keys, and a pre-filled types.xml snippet are included for easy server-side integration.

@Toppskillz, they should be a little louder than Vanilla ones, but some of them are repeating their slogan again and again. In the beginning it's funny but after some time it gets on players nervs. That's what players are complaining to me LOL. I know it's hard to satisfy everybody's wishes, thank you anyway for your attention. Have a nice w.e.

@Troublemaker sure. I will look at re-balancing the volumes a bit. But not as softly as the vanilla zombies as these are suppose to be louder and scare you a bit when they scream or yell at you. I really did not have much scale to go on volume wise accept my own ears.

Hello Toppskillz, would it be possible to reduce the audio level of the Z's4Y, it's a bit too loud. Sometimes it's not possible to hear what is going on in the near surroundings because of the Z4Y being too loud. Maybe other admins or server owners may confirm. Thank you for your great Mod.

OK ALL... Sorry for the problem. I had to create a new KEy please update the mod and double check the key from this current version is copied into your server keys follder thanks for using the mod and enjoy...

Good morning, there is a problem with the pbo. As client i get the message that i'm using zombies4you.pbo which is not part of the server. Server side, the mod is installed and subscribed.
I had to uninstall the mod to make the server start. Maybe you can have a look at, thank you anyway, it's a super cool mod :-)
