[COA] Acolyte MK2 Class: Interceptor

This is a Fighter designed to take on other Fighters in dogfights & be able to dance around capital ships
The Idea is inspired by the Interceptor ships from homeworld.

Interceptors are the long arm of carrier groups that work well in medium to large numbers.

Strong against: Fighters, Non combat ships.
Weak against: Corvettes, Gunships, Frigates, Battlestars.

This ship is not made for survival or PVP, So don't act like it is Luca.


26 blocks long [13 meters]
6 blocks tall [3 meters]
13 blocks wide [6.5 meters]

Fir'ra class: Fighter chassis

This ship has:
4 Gatling guns
large hydrogen tank
5 small battery's
1 large batttery
decoys in the wing tips
Bottom facing connecter with camera

Crew: 2 pilots (1 per shift)

Feel free to take into atmosphere. but it is a space superiority fighter first and foremost.

Changes from MK1 to MK2:
Smaller size
better camera location
better spotlight location
Production merge block actually on the ship
Looks better


After 9.6 years, the Acolyte MK1 became antiquated due to new tech and better building processes. Also, a lot of flaws keep annoying the pilots. So the MK2 was a test to modernize the original Acolyte and address her design's flaws.
A cheaper fighter with the same capabilities means more money for other projects, and so the Pro-Strike-Craft faction in Altiirean Fleet Command invested to have more money in the long run.

After the success of the MK2, it will be the main line fighter for the fleet. Almost all production of the MK1 has stopped, but they still serve in the fleet

Pilots and hangar crew love the ship so far; it handles much better and takes up less space in the hangars and pads.
But a small group of avid ship enthusiasts still think the Mk1 is the better ship, but they are stuck in the past and unwilling to face change.
