Maintenance improves repair

Beskrivning
What does this do?
  • When you repair an item, the % repaired scales with your maintenance skill level
  • Every level of maintenance adds 5% to the total amount repaired, up to a max of 25% additional repair.
  • Gives a small amount of maintenance XP for each repair


Which repair recipes are changed?
All weapon and tool repairs.

Vehicle repair recipes, for example repairing hood with metal sheet, are NOT changed.


Customization
You can configure which items, materials and skills should not be affected with sandbox variables.

Multiplayer
Works with multiplayer.

Is this compatible with <Mod> ?
I have not tested this with any other mods, use at your own risk.

In theory, it should be compatible with all mods, as it patches the repair recipes on game load. All it does it add the maintenance skill to every repair recipe.

To modders: The mod can be configured to skip repair recipes for certain items, repair materials or skills. See top of patchFixers.lua

As @Neidmere has already stated, it looks like Maintenance Improves Repair is obsolete in B42. With zero maintenance skill, it appears the item (baseball bats set at 1 health in this case) will either successfully restore it to peak condition, or break. Advancing in levels appears to increase the likelihood of success.

The amount of repair does not appear to vary, it's either break, or 100%

Not exactly the same as being incorporated into the game in this case, but a game making a mod obsolete is still an achievement
