Lee Tung Street Protest Banner
利東街抗議標語

Introduction
Lee Tung Street (Chinese: 利東街), known as the Wedding Card Street (喜帖街; 囍帖街) by locals, was a street in Wan Chai, Hong Kong. The street was famed in Hong Kong and abroad as a center for publishing and for the manufacturing of wedding cards and other similar items.

As part of an Urban Renewal Authority (URA) project, all interests of Lee Tung Street were resumed by and reverted to the Government of Hong Kong since 1 November 2005, and subsequently demolished in December 2007. The demolition was seen by many as causing irreparable harm to the cultural heritage of Hong Kong.

The site was redeveloped as a luxury shopping and housing development. As with all other URA projects, no original tenants have been resettled on site.

(From: Wikipedia[en.wikipedia.org])

These banners were set up in 2007 at Lee Tung Street to protest against the URA redevelopment program.

Description
15 different banners with different slogans or texts are in this pack. The banners are raised 5+ meters from the ground, use Move It to further adjust their position.

i do believe that precious cultural heritage like card-making industry in Lee Tung Street should be better protected by government, instead of being demolished or eliminated for something nonsense like "urban renewal"

@Aitortilla01 Thank you. Is a shame that valuable things keep being demolished by the government.
