描述

This mod is compatible with the game version 0.63.32 (V63) and ⛔not the newest patched version⛔.

A mod for the patched version won't be released in the near future, because of upcoming minor updates of the game.


To use the needed game version, follow these steps:

Open the LIBRARY in STEAM

On the list on the left, right click on SONGS OF SYX

click on PROPTERTIES...

In the new opened window, click on BETAS

click on the field beneath the text "Select the beta you would like to opt into:"

and select in the drop-down list ea63 - EA V63

Congratulations, you did it! 🏆

⚠️This mod is NOT PROPERLY TESTED and could cause bugs and crashes!

This mod is based on my other mod Easy Mode V63 which lacks of the technology boost.

I don't know about save game compatibility, please test it on your own.

If you find bugs, please let me know. I try to fix them as good as I can.

The mod

Original rates of the upcoming things have been muliplied by following factors:
(Designations can vary from those in the game.)

Factor
Subject
10x
less reserach points needed for every technology
10x
output per worker at laboratories
2x
growth rate of plants and mushrooms, except for grain
0,5x
degrading of all resources
3x
amount of mineable ores and gems
2x
yield of mines
2x
yield of the following buildings: fishery, woodcutter, all animal farms, brewery, coaler, smelter, weaver, bakery, bowyer, carpenter, jewelry, mason, machanic, paper, pottery, ration, smithy, tailor.
Also will every ore and gem be generated on every map. A mountain area is not needed anymore.

I think i fixed it. The game somehow wants all the standard folders also in the mod, eventhough they're empty. Could please someone test, if the bug still appears? Thank you in advance :)

much appreciated for your kind intervention but I had decided to use another mod that did not have an error in the mean time + I'm a horrendously lazy person so I don't have the assiduity to reproduce the error and then try to fix when I have found an alternative
But I hope much success to your modding tho

Please follow the steps to fix that bug:

1. Right click on the file or folder the error is linked to seperatly

2. Left click on "Properties"

3. Left click on "Security" Tab and check if you have "FULL CONTROL" selected on the lower list for the Windows Account you're using while playing with the game with the mod and "SYSTEM" Account

4. Do this with every Data that error is linked to.

I tried it with the version 0.63.32 and can't reproduce the error. I'm sorry that the mod doesn't work for you. Have you tried starting Steam and Songs of Syx as an Administrator?

says "The game could not write to its file directory. Please check permissions"
