**edit*
User error on my part, adding it mid-game needs some tweaks, working perfect on a new run.

I can't seem to get this to work, switches to controller then can't get WASD to work after, running on B42 42.12.3

Tested it in B42.11 - started new game - x/a button switches to controller - wasd switches back to keyboard - working like intended

btw. the enable controller button can´t be changed - it´s a vanila feature
and the mod does nothing in the main menu - wasd can´t be monitored there
sry :)

Thank you for the mod. The switching works great but when I go back to keyboard from controller it resets my inventory layout. Is there any way to prevent this?

Ouuuh! This is really cool! It allows me to play from my steamdeck onto my old laptop plugged to my living room TV with the freedom of keyboard :D thank you!

Seconding that it's the (A) button on Xbox controllers

Is not working for me... inventory and everything else works fine, just can't move :(

I did a quick and dirty conversion to B42(basically just adding the right filestructure so the game sees it) and it seems to work just fine.

doesnt work when another command uses the x double press, otherwise great idea, wasd works well. How about activating by moving a stick?
