Hey, glad you enjoyed the mod, Changing shop placement is a real ass pain, since their placement tends to change everytime i add buildings, and seems like some building types favor certain types of buildings, e.g nobles tend to settle in bughouses, even though i wanted to set it to outpost type III. For example, you might have seen those cages near hat shop? There used to be a slave shop. About real estate: I imagined united cities towns to be a huge array of streets and houses tightly placed together. To populate those moor houses or swamp shacks in bark i guess i'll have to add interiors and people there myself.

Bud I loaded this up and checked some of the towns out. Pretty good stuff man, you need to put up some more screenshots to get across the level of overhaul we are talking about.
My suggestion so far? Too much real estate.
On one hand, lots of options for player homes to buy is amazing dont get me wrong.
But for me at least the fact that nearly every building in these cities is actually empty and for sale strangely bothers me and makes the towns feel off even if they are BUSTLING with npcs.
Maybe add a few more populated shops?
The general store in sho battai seems oddly placed for example, being as far away as possible from the gate?

I've been looking at UC themed mods for like a week lol and so many of them are out of date this one was exciting to find. I need to search mods by "last updated" and "mist recent" more often

i love the upgrade and love to stoat but can you add like 3 more towers to stoat and make one of the towers inhabited by the Shinobi Thieves? i love that super compact feel. i feel there was a missed opportunity to make some of the building compact to the point of making them mini fortresses with one tower per zone
