clothesbox skirt mesh fix (obsolete)

clothesbox will integrate this mod so it's no longer necessary !! since the mod is just an asset replacer its ok to disable it and use clothesbox as usual

tweaks weighting on the clothesbox mod skirt meshes so they clip less during animations. does not fix masking issues when equipping other items

this patch requires clothesbox and you need to load it after clothesbox by setting it below clothesbox in mod load order

works with either clothesbox or clothesbox redux, this mod is for the vanilla body mesh


i believe the mesh having "tears" when you equip other 3d mesh items is an issue with the mask textures the game uses to display decals and hide bodyparts and stuff. i think it'd be fixable by redrawing the texture & re-uvmapping the mesh so it stays within the boundaries of the crotch mask in ProjectZomboid\media\textures\Body\Masks\crotch.png, whereas the original texture and uv leak a little bit out to the left and right. this is a lot of work since it's essentially remaking all of the mod's visual assets, and this may not even be the simplest way to go about it since idk much about zomboid modding.
this patch mod however is just a simple tweak to the mesh's weighting so it clips less during animations. you can see in the comparison pics there's no more clipping when the legs move, and less clipping on the midsection of the body when it leans forward



i accidentally compared skirt 2 to skirt 1, the 1st comparison has proper skirt 1 post-patch to skirt 1 pre-patch comparisons but idk how to update the preview without updating the mod and i don't wanna annoy people using this mod in mp. if i ever have to do a file update i'll update the previews n posters
