Quick update, basic support for Campaign, Survival, and Versus has been added in, so enjoy playing this quick and short example of a old ass concept for what would later become Left 4 Dead.

Hey all, quick upload today because this just came out, wanted to get this out real quick and do a quick speedrun. I plan on working and finishing this up more but at the moment it's just the base map

Features possibly the first ever map that was made for the concept of Left 4 Dead, original never-seen before layout that would become the basis of No Mercy.

I plan to add in small Co-Op support and definite Survival support, at the moment this is where I get off, I hope you all have a wonderful day!

yeah, my bad for writting "project" i couldnt edit it so i was waiting, and its cool that you modified this map so it can be playable, some of the l4d2 maps are very closed and are barely called "streets" they only follow one path but this one hits different. i will not tell you to add the textures but if you feel like it, it would be really awesome:cherrypie:

it isn't a project, this is the genuine original prototype map they had in testing that i just modified simply to play more fluidly like a complete-able l4d map

I've always liked unused content. I think if you combine this with the hidden tutorial_standards map, you might get a decent enough campaign.

any chances to have an alternate version with the bombsite being the finale, closer to how it was probably intended? maybe just like a helicopter or something
unless you still wanna blow up the building, in which case fair enough
