This competition will substitute current FIFA Club World Cup.

Instead of being played every four years, this competition will occur every year during late February/early March.

16 teams will participate:
- UEFA Champions League winner and runner-up;
- UEFA Europa League winner and runner-up;
- UEFA Europa Conference League winner;
- CONMEBOL Libertadores Cup winner and runner-up;
- CONMEBOL Copa Sudamericana winner;
- AFC Champions League winner and runner-up;
- CAF Champions League winner and runner-up;
- CONCACAF winner and runner-up;
- OFC Champions League winner;
- last FIFA Club World Cup winner.

So, by continent this will be the distribution of teams:
- Europe: 5
- South America: 3
- Asia: 2
- Africa: 2
- North America: 2
- Oceania: 1
- last winner of the FIFA Club World Cup

Hello. Answering to -Icarus-: In the case that happens, then the runner-up of one of those competitions (I don't remember which, sorry) will take the place. Answering to Ika: I will update it within this week or the next, when I have time. :)

if the last winner of the fifa club world cup is same as the winner or runner up of UCL then how???
