Ostauto A-Type 24-Seat Double Decker Omnibus

The Ostauto A-Type is an 24 Seat, Double Decker Omnibus. The A-Type was designed in 1909 and was first out on the roads in 1910 serving the Sawyer Island's Bus Company, firstly on Service 7 from North Harbour to Holt Pier, it soon was ordered on mass by the SIBC for other routes and allowed Ostauto to gain a foothold into the Bus and Truck Industry just shy of World War 1. The crank started bus was known for its reliability, manoeuvrability, and for the time impressive top speed of 42mph. During WW1, the A-Type was purchased for use with the militaries of the Entente Powers, including both the British Empire, and the Dominion of Newquay.

Seen here is an example of the A-Type in the Nationalised Sawyer Island Bus Company Red & Creme Livery, on the 7 Route to Holt Town Pier, without any advertisement boards due to the taxpayer funded nature of the service at the time. This model features two destination boards (Front & Rear) unlike its younger distant cousins these would be physical plates that would need to be swapped at the end of each route.

HOW TO USE:

---

STARTING ENGINE:
- BATTERY BREAKER On
- Ensure that both FUEL VALVES on either side are open.
- Go to the front of the bus and Crank the engine.

GETTING IN GEAR:
- The Bus starts in PARK as indicated on the Gear Display (0), this gear automatically applies the Handbrake.
- To Enter Drive Gears press UP on your Arrow Keys whilst in Park, or whatever you have bound Axis 4 to, the Gear Display will change to 1.
- To Enter Reverse Gear press DOWN on your Arrow Keys whilst in Park, the Gear Display will change to -1.

DRIVING:
- Use W to Accelerate and S to Brake.
- Use A/D to Steer
- [1], [2], and [3] control the Turn/Hazard Indicators, remember to cancel them when you don't need them again.
