This mod adds in player origins (or backgrounds), which allow you to start a new player off with different max life, mana, items, or even world changes like a different spawn.
These are all accessible by default through the character creation screen; a little button next to the player name switches the menu to player origin mode.
From then on, choose whichever background you like and enjoy!

There are also a bunch of unlockable origins - play more to discover how to unlock these.

I can't unlock the Alternate . i did unlock all the other ones, just not this one for some reason...

@Pixus Report whatever you can to the Discord if you're able, that'd be super nice.

@L1L ST4BB13S It doesn't display any changes, but it does do them. To some degree I may remove that, it's - ironically enough - causing more confusion than anything, and I don't care to work more on it.

does confused class do anything??? i've made like 30 characters with it and it has done nothing to randomize any damage classes at all like in fact it doesn't seem to change anything tbh

Please remove the class name when selecting a character. I don't want a lame name just for the sake of starting items. I just want my nickname to be displayed.
