[Discontinued] Godherja + MTS – Patch

I stopped playing Crusader Kings III and maintaining this mod. Everybody is free to use its code for developing their own mods.

Godherja + MTS – Patch enables using the More Tenets Slots mod with the Godherja: The Dying World Total Conversion mod.

Description
Because this mod is a compatch, it’s – of course – necessary to install and activate Godherja: The Dying World Total Conversion mod and More Tenets Slots mod.

As Godherja: The Dying World uses modified vanilla Tenets, this compatch only incorporates code for the More Tenets Slots feature. For this reason, only the More Tenets Slots mod is needed. But the compatch is working as well with my More Tenets Slots + Customizable Ethics mod. It‘s just, that the game rule set for Customizable Ethics, will have no effect.

The recommended loading order is
- Godherja: The Dying World
…
- More Tenets Slots OR
- More Tenets Slots + Customizable Ethics
- Godherja + MTS – Patch

Note: This patch is not play-tested; I just tested it on a new game, where every thing worked as intended. So please leave a message in the discussion tab, if any bug or strange event occurs in your game!

Until the mod is properly continued, I've managed a quick-and-dirty fix using "More Tenets - Updated by Polytheism Reborn" mod, which is the up-to-date version of More tenets.
0. Go to offline mode to prevent updating while you tinker with files. As usual, back up the mods somewhere
1. from Godherja folder (mod 2326030123), go to common/religion/doctrines and copy the file 00_core_tenets.txt.
2. in the More tenets folder (mod 3085182185), again go to common/religion/doctrines, and paste the file from the step 1.
3. In the same folder, open the xxx_mts_core_tenets,txt and copy everything from the start till the following line:

# Christian faith tenets #


4. Now open the 00_core_tenets,txt and replace everything before the (same) line

# Christian faith tenets #

with what you've copied. Save and close the file.
5. Delete xxx_mts_core_tenets,txt, then rename 00_core_tenets,txt to xxx_mts_core_tenets,txt
6. Enjoy!

I've to apologize for my long absence. For personal reasons, I was unable to maintain my mods. For the same reason, I hat to stop playing Crusader Kings III. Everybody is free to use the code for their own mods.
