You don't need anything extra for this to work, it's not normal mead, but it's another job at the still, it's called "make cave mead". It's possible that one of your other mods is messing with the jobs, but the way this mod works, so as long as your other mods don't delete files, loading this mod last should work.

Are you saying there's a specific piece of UX I need to locate (which is not the normal "make mead" reaction at the still) to use this honey for mead?

Or are you saying there needs to be a further change to the raws (e.g. installing "DLE - Make Mead Fix" mod) to make this honey usable for mead?

Went and checked, it works fine for me, so it's probably a mod conflict.
Probably worth saying though that this is a different product from the regular mead (should be more valuable), so if you're just making mead in general it's not going to include this honey. The vanilla mead reaction asks for honey bee honey specifically, for some reason.
The other thing you could try is loading this mod last, since it's possible that some other mod is overwriting something, but idk what you have or what other conflicts that might cause.
