G. Raptor

The G stands for Gaming, because of course it does

G. Raptor, the Called Crusade, joins Rivals of Aether! He plays as a Rushdown, with access to a Stand Meter that can even heal and reduce other character's gimmicks.



As stated previously, Raptor has a Stand Meter that he can use to buff the attacks his Stand, Universal Collapse - Revenge, performs. Every non-Stand attack increases the meter by 5%, but every Stand-based attack decreases it by 5%. Raptor can go up to 300% of Stand Meter, but if he's over 100%, he'll gain a stack of Overclock. He takes tick damage, but has plenty of excess Stand Meter. Use it wisely!

Raptor swings his sword of choice, his Elemental Excalibur, and shoots out a beam. If the input is held, he'll send out his Stand to input a flurry of punches!

Raptor, using his Charge Blade and his third weapon of choice, slings forward on a Wirebug and slams his Charge Blade into the ground. Raptor also sends out a burst of flames in front of him, acting as a good ranged kill option!

Raptor's USPECIAL is similar to his FSPECIAL, except in two departments. First, he slings upward with a Wirebug. Secondly, he ditches the Phial Discharge for a command grab on the way down! Both moves have a hitbox where the Charge Blade makes impact, but the command grab with USPECIAL leads right into it!

Raptor uses the power of his Stand (and also Christianity??????????) to heal his percentage. He has two different modes for this (found on the CSS screen), which change how much he heals. If he has a stack of Overclock, he both heals his percentage AND reduces character gimmicks! Read user_event0.gml or the compatibility discussion for more information.

Speaking of compatibility, Raptor has a pretty good amount.
