If you're here, Steam didn't properly load the original mod, but it's fine, without the Thumbnail, it will work

If you don't uninstall hoi4 and don't unsubscribe from a mod, even if it's removed from the steam workshop you can still use it, I learned this after my favorite mod (a war crimes mod) got banned for being a war crime mod.

holy fucking shit this mod is a fucking godsend i have a HoI save that used the original and i have spent 20 FUCKING IRL HOURS on this ONE save that used the original thank fuck this one works.

is there anyway to save a mod to the hard drive so if it gets yeeted by steam it wont get deleted of my hard drive?

It is... Even though i credited, the owner of one of the mods i used claimed copyright of one of the icons (There was 240 new icons, 200 i made myself) and Steam had to take the mod down, but when i remove those and make more icons, i'll reup

Figured out the problem is writing 'picture='thumbnail.png''' into Descriptor, just adding the file would do the job

I think your mod works for everyone but you, this is a classic problem, try to temporarily rename the external descriptor like this "krafpbnc.mod1" and then load the launcher and then the worshop version should work.
