I’m not a programmer, so I asked ChatGPT for help with this one 😅
Cause:
playSound() was called in start(), but the sound ID wasn’t stored or stopped, so it kept looping.
Fix:
Save the sound ID and stop it in both stop() and perform():
-- start()
self.sound = self.character:getEmitter():playSound("ClothesRipping")
-- stop() / perform()
if self.sound and self.character:getEmitter():isPlaying(self.sound) then
self.character:getEmitter():stopSound(self.sound)
end
self.sound = nil
Now the ripping sound stops correctly when the action ends or is canceled.
