描述
MAJESTIC FOLIAGE - DJEESHKA'S CMT RETEXTURE
is an [addon pack] for [Majestic Foliage] and contains
Djeeshka's CMT retextures and tree sizes from [CMT Retexture] for [Majestic Trees].
It is not required to use [MF].

This mod is a texture pack and will not work without the necessary dependencies.
This addon is not required.

FEATURES :
• Removal of Tree Variation for Textured Trees
• Texture Replacements for most Vanilla Trees

QUESTIONS / ANSWERS
Q:Do I need this for [Majestic Foliage]?
A: No. It just adds textures and settings provided in the original mod for use within Majestic Foliage.

Q:Do I need [Majestic Foliage] for this?

A: Yes. This pack only contains the textures and code for size changes.

Q:I activivated this why did nothing change?
A: Textures aren't applied by default, settings can be found in Mod Options provided by XML Extensions.

- Click the [+] Then find Majesic Foliage

Q:Why can see textures but all my trees are still small?
A: Textures and Sizes have been split to give you further freedom in how you play the game. Under the Texture selection in XML Settings you'll find a similar list for Sizes.
-Each "Size Preset" will generate it's own set of keys upon restart of the game allowing you to choose the right combination that suits you.
--NOTE: switching sizes generates unused keys in XML settings, be sure to clear them if you don't plan on switching between sizes.

Q:Will you add support for [X]?
A: Probably not. If anything basic support may be added in [MF] I cannot expand on this artstyle though.

i'm mostly just curious if an update is coming at all, i tend to expect development to be much longer generally but i think most people haven't heard from Hohen on whether or not it's been abandoned.
Taggerung on the Framework's page seems to have an easy patch on deck, but he doesn't have permission from Hohen to release it in any form

@greatorder, imagine making all the young and wasted version for all of the trees that were introduced since version 1.5, plus the framework itself needs to be patched to work. This retexture exists solely because of the Comigo's Majestic Trees framework that introduced the system that makes trees change their texture on mouse-over and then got upgraded by Hohen into Majestic Foliage.
All of this is not quite as trivial as it may seems.
Even without creating missing textures for trees it won't be quite thankful task, since commenters mostly don't read the descriptions and even if maintainer will update and upload it will recieve reports and insults for these missing textures. Although my personal experience in that kind of things was quite smooth, you still should expect the worst from people 🤡

Honestly surprised that nobody's picked up this mod. Doesn't seem like it'd be too hard to maintain, most of the textures are already there so it's just compatibility. Kinda wish I knew what I was doing with coding.

Temperate. Boreal. Tropical. Aspen. Long ago, the four Biomes were retextured in harmony. Then, everything changed when the Anomaly update attacked. Only Hohen, master of Majestic Foliage, could stop the low resolution trees, but when the mod community needed him most, he vanished. Four months passed and my brother and I discovered that Hohen was alive and playing Baldur's Gate 3. And although his mods are great, he probably has a lot to accomplish in BG3 before he returns. But I believe Hohen will return and make me want to hug a tree again.

This is a time consuming workaround, but what I did is just replace all of the applicable Regrowth retexture .png files with Djeeshka's in the mod folders and it totally works! Also gets around having to use two outdated glitchy mods. Plus, Regrowth includes perspective trees which is awesome. Its just a lot of copy and pasting and renaming to match the original Regrowth .png files but it's not rocket science. Hope that helps those who love this mod as much as me!
