Finn and Jake

Adventure Time's bravest heroes, Finn and Jake, are ready to join the fight.

This duo uses a multitude of melee hits, sword attacks, and thrown items to control the battle. Finn can swap swords depending on what the situation calls for, allowing him to alter his attack speed, damage, and combo potential.

Alternate colour palette options are based on other characters that have made appearances in the Adventure Time series, including Ice King & Gunther, Flame Princess & Flame Guard, BMO & Sleepy Sam, Marceline & her dog Schwabl, and Princess Bubblegum & Lumpy Space Princess.

Specials:

Up Special
Jake forms a parachute, hoisting the duo upwards before slowly gliding downwards. This move can be cancelled into pratfall while descending.

Neutral Special
Throw an item from Finn's backpack. Items come out in a fixed rotation. These items include:
- BMO. BMO has long range and bounces off the ground a few times before disappearing. This item deals minimal damage and knockback.
- Flambo. This item is fast and travels moderately far, setting opponents on fire when it hits them.
- Crystal Gem Apple. A short-range projectile with moderate damage that stuns opponents briefly when it hits.
- Bug Milk. Travels slowly and bounces off the ground. Its damage depends on how long enemies stay in its path.
- Bee. This item flies slowly in a linear pattern and has a moderate lifespan. It can hit the opponent multiple times and is good for trapping enemies for follow up attacks.
- Billy's Gauntlet. This item travels slowly and has the shortest range, but deals high damage and knockback with an explosive energy blast
- Miscellaneous Junk. Once all other items have been used, this is the only item that can be thrown until the next respawn. Item rotation is reset upon respawning. This item has short range, and deals low damage and knockback.

Forward Special
Lunge forward and knock opponents into the air with an uppercut from Jake. The perfect tool for setting opponents up for combos. If this move does not hit an opponent, it goes into pratfall.

Down Special
Swap out Finn's sword. Swapping Finn's sword changes the properties of all of his sword attacks. There are three swords to choose from: The Finn Sword, the Grass Sword, and the Demon Blood Sword.
- The Finn Sword is the first sword equipped at the beginning of every match. It has average damage and knockback, allowing it to finish combos at mid-high percents. It is the ideal sword for landing quick, reliable combo finishers and can defeat opponents fairly reliably.
- The Grass Sword Is the second sword in the rotation and has the shortest startup and endlag. It also converts most of Finn's sword moves to multi-hit attacks. However, it also has the lowest damage, range, and knockback. This sword is ideal for building damage at low-mid percents by overwhelming the opponent with fast combos.
- The Demon Blood Sword is Finn's final sword. Swapping again when this sword is equipped will re-equip the Finn Sword. The Demon Blood Sword has the highest range, damage, and knockback, but also has the longest startup and endlag. This sword is too slow to be used in combos, but makes for a powerful tool for defeating opponents at mid-high percents.


Abyss Runes:

Rune A - USPECIAL travels faster and further.
Rune B - The Crystal Gem Apple has increased stun duration.
Rune C - Bee is more effective at trapping opponents.
Rune D - FSPECIAL has longer range.
Rune E - BMO launches opponents directly upward with increased hitstun.
Rune F - Jake's attacks deal additional damage.

Rune G - Gain a second midair Jump.
Rune H - Take reduced knockback while the Demon Blood Sword is equipped.
Rune I - USPECIAL can be cancelled into an attack or a jump.
Rune J - While the Grass Sword is equipped, movement speed is increased.
Rune K - FSPECIAL has increased hitstun.

Rune L - Attacking with the Finn Sword grants super armor.
Rune M - Using TAUNT resets item rotation.
Rune N - Billy's Gauntlet deals much more knockback to players at high percents.
Rune O - Landing hits with the Demon Blood Sword restores health.
