描述
Full version is out now.

You are stuck in Black Mesa and must find your way out by going through various areas of the facility.

The map should show up in the workshop tab, in-game. If not type "map bc_m1" into the console.

Any constructive criticism is greatly appreciated. So please write a comment, as that could help me a lot to become a better mapper.

Known issue:
- For some reason when you reload the map the displacements in the canyon show the wrong blend.
- Can't launch the map from the main menu after the Necro Patch.

I liked it! It was fun, and while I had to watch my ammunition I never really ran into a stage where I lacked it. Well done!

It was fun to play but the ending just doesn't work. I expected this to be like Surface Tension but there was only a brief part that was on the surface, and then you go into a very low poly flatland and that's the end. That doesn't work for me.

Try to launch it from the console it work for me, and unfortunatly its since the necro patch, it seems that it work every single mp map made before this patch. (Cause all my mod are broken too since that patch...)

starting it from the menu causes the game to crash, what should I do?

Nicely designed BM mappack, the areas feel believable, the puzzles & combat are well ballanced, but the only major flaw is the ending, a simple fade to black & quit to menu would have been enough. Also, it`s very stupid and unrealistic to shoot wooden planks & metal vent grates with the pistol bullets, I would advise anyone making maps to refrain from forcing the player to do that. That`s what the crowbar, or any melee weapon of choice is for.

The ending is a bit jank, feels supper out of place, and cutscene could be game-play. I would have made the elevator lead to a garage that has the player get in a security jeep and play a cutscene of the player leaving in the jeep. While the camera stays in the garage were the military comes in, from a side exit not the exit the player takes, then zen creatures teleport in. Making the last thing that you see a battle between the military and xen creatures and it fades to black.

the one criticism i have for you is in the start of the second map "bc_m2" is that it seems too clean and plain to be in the middle of a disaster. So i would suggest adding dead scientist/guards/military to make some small story telling. like a dead solider next to a bunch of dead headcrabs. And have one of the locked doors instead of locked be broken and show a collapsed tunnel with an unfortunate soul in the debris or make it unlocked but blocked by xen type life.

Good map, but the cutscene at the end was unneeded
