We at Lagrange Interplanetary Motorworks are overjoyed to introduce the first in our public spaceship line!


The Calliope is a multi-role freighter designed to handle odd jobs and provide lightly-armed and armored transport of sensitive goods and equipment between bases without the need for constant refueling stops. This vessel is to be primarily serviced by a pilot, 1-2 engineers, a medical officer, a couple body guards, as well as the captain.

This series of ship came about primarily due to the uptick in pirate activity in recent months, resulting in anything short of 3 cannon turrets, a few CIWS turrets, and breakneck speed being completely inadequate by any proud spacefarer. This ship, though smaller than the larger and more capable ships in the Lagrange arsenal, is capable of handling itself long enough to get out of dodge. It is designed to dock with stations and other ships using the same mountings as the Adula, which during this press release is currently undergoing trials of new systems and re-fittings in order to progress in the same ways the Calliope has towards these rising threats.

This ship's equipped with 8 beds for any friends you want to take along, as well as having a basic mess hall with 6 seats and a kitchen, an armory, a small medical room, a very accessible engineering wing with all the critical systems right at your fingertips, as well as an airlock behind the bridge just in case you take on damage and have a depressurized forward section. A conference/observation room is also present for team meetings or just admiring a station or planet. There is also a MAYDAY beacon that reaches out 20,000km in case you get stranded. There are also 2 small cargo containers exposed to the elements to the rear of the ship from the entry ladder, this is so you can on-load and offload stuff while on foot.


This vessel is the first to be released in my new family of ships! I've been waiting for the last few months to finish everything up, and I'm finally nearing completion of not just this ship, but a larger Adula, which is another multi-role freighter but a bit bigger with much more firepower and a bit more armor. This ship is not a combat vessel, it is just designed to service a small crew for survival needs with the ability to properly fight back and hopefully buy enough time to jump out and wait for help or completely flee the situation.

The Pioneer II is also finishing up production tomorrow, which is about 110m in length, and is quite a thick ship purpose-built for never having to dock at a station outside of refueling the uranium and large-scale repairs after intensive battles. It uses the same design language as the two before-mentioned ships, but scaled up perfectly to a much larger size. It's mostly designed around combat, but is perfectly fit for any task in space - as it's simply too large and heavy to effectively work in atmosphere.

Lastly, a 260m-long station has reached completion and will be posted very soon. It's fully capable of handling its own in a fight versus capital ships, has 8 dedicated small refueling pads, 2 large shuttle pads, 4 small landing pads, 2 small hangars, and 2 large shuttle hangars. It also has docks for 2 medium-large ships and 2 docks for the 310m-long Bucephalus capital ship, which is currently under massive re-designs to bring the almost 2-year-old ship up to modern standards. The station also has arrays totaling 8 side-mounted connectors on the inner rings, and 2 dedicated Midori Consolidated Industries large-ship docking ports.
