You have a big self-sufficient colony or have a lot of high-tech mods, but still need to rely on trade for Synthread? Then this small mod might be useful for you.

Mod Contents

Mod add recipe for 25 Synthread at the Fabrication Bench. Including Bulk x3 recipe.
Cost: 25 Cloth, 10 Devilstrand, 50 Chemfuel.
Skills: Crafting 10.

Require "Fabrication" research to unlock it.

If you need to make cost higher or lower, then you can just open \Defs\RecipeDefs and change it to your liking.

Mod Compatibility

Should have no compatibility issues with other mods.

Versions before Rimworld 1.3 wasn't tested, but might work.

Supported languages: English, Russian.

Add/Remove

Mod should be safe to add to existing save. But when you want to remove it, better make backup save just in case.

Thanks for the mod. The cost on this one is more to my liking than 35 chemfuel to 20x thread from the other I saw.

Thank you for this mod. I use SRTS for vehicle and synthread is a requirement for some ships.

I feel like I'm missing something here, why would you want to use devilstrand to make synthread when the former seems to have the better stats? just as an intermediate step to hyperweave?

Metal LED, such question was raised before, while it do be convenient to have all in one when you use all of them, it do become problematic if you would want to use only one of them or disable one for the purpose of playthrough lore. Since having 4 of them separate doesn't have any difference for the game itself too, so it won't make much difference from that pov. So that's basically the reason why I kept them separate.
