描述
This is an MCC port from Halo: Custom Editon.
I am not the original author.

This version of Maridia was never "officially" released. Instead, one of the mod creators posted the map and related files to the Halomaps forum.

This version features:
Weapons from the Prime series
Super Missiles as the secondary grenade
Revamped HUD
Other Miscellaneous changes

Credit goes to MosesofEgypt, Seraphim, Ifafudafi, and the rest of the Metroid Online Team.

History of Metroid Online

Changes:
- Added 3 weapons to biped
- Re-aligned HUD
- Reduced spread on all weapons
- All weapons penetrate leaves and water
- Plasma beam now penetrates through glass
- Wave beam now penetrates through all materials

Thoughts:
I tried fixing up the UI, but I don't know if it will work for all resolutions/FOVs.
I reduced the spread of the wave beam because it being as inaccurate as it was is downright criminal.

- Moses, thank you for releasing these files without protection. You are truly a godsend.
- mata for guiding me through the process of making transparent bitmaps for those pesky chicago shaders.
- Vaporeon for showing me how to fix bitmap tags that are missing a sequence and then doing it for me anways.

- The Metroid Online team for making all of this a possibility.

You can now spawn with the power beam, spazer beam, wave beam, and plasma beam by disabling Custom Starting Equipment in the game options menu. To do this:
Game Options > Item Options > Custom Starting Equipment: OFF

Many of these maps can luckily still be found at the HaloNet Repository [maps.halonet.net] including Maridia. I know there are a few other map repos out there too.

Also, if you are ever interested in reliving that sweet sweet Custom Edition experience, know that groups such as Halo Reclaimers hold monthly Custom Edition gamenights! Next one is pretty soon...

I just had to give you the "take my points award" because I thought this was lost to time. Probably the best Metroid Mod by the Metroid Online map team to last be worked on for Custom Edition before they retired, it's a shame, I was really excited to see more maps from them :o

I was looking for this version!! I knew it existed because I had the map file before, thank you again! I used to be part of a Halo Custom Edition testing team and I remember being in servers where map files were shared around!
