描述
The NATO fleet is on its way to the islands of Altis and Stratis to confront the CSAT forces, but before they get there, they must eliminate the threat posed by the forces present on Malden.

Set 24 hours before events of the Stepping Stone. Join NATO special forces arriving on Malden, but before they can take on main island they must eliminate CSAT supply base on eastern island that once hosted US base during Cold War.

This mission is best discripted as a mission and a half as it splits into to two different scenarios after first main objective based on player choice.
In first half of the mission you will join squad tasked with clearing CSAT base hosting Surface to Air Missiles.
After that player is presented with a choice (in COOP this is preset by person hosting the mission):
  • Either jump into A-164 Wipeout strike aircraft to eliminate APCs and fuel depots using it's 30mm cannon and unguided bombs.
  • Or to continue as infantry squad and eliminate CSAT supplies using equipment found on the island.


NO MODS OR DLCS REQUIRED


Procedural generation is used in the mission to make it fresh and interesting on every playthrough.

Many aspects of this mission are subject to randomization. Inluding layout of the CSAT base, placement of CSAT soldiers, their gear and few other minor aspects.



COOP mode is available for up to 6 players.

Takes somewhere between 15 - 25 minutes to complete the mission.

Sebastian Monroe I hear you but that ain't happening. :)
Correct me if I miss remember but all target you are asked to destroy in A-164 Wipeout are trucks and lightly armored APCs. All possible targets for Wipeout's 30mm gun, the main reason this aircraft is fun.

If GBUs or AGMs were available that part of the mission would be comically easy. Dare I say a "point and click adventure" levels of easy.

I found that It was very difficult to do this mission without GBU's that lock to a laser. please update for GBU's on the A-10

And another of your great missions. I would say, that's kind of a perfect scenario. It's cool to have midgame the possibility to choose between infantry and the A-164. So another favorite mission added to my collection. Nice work!
