COOP10 The Hill

描述
US Army 3/187th Infantry (Airmobile), Ap Bia Mountains, somewhere near Laotian border. May, 1969

I don't have faintest clue why this hill has any significance but hey..general says it's important.

All I know is that 187th sustained heaviest losses of entire war on this hill this morning. Now we're next in the meat grinder. Guys have already given this hill a grim nickname..

NVA 7th Battalion is holed up the slope in their trenches and bunkers.

We wait USAF to hit the slope with snakes and nape, and then using our own fires to support our maneuver and push up the damn slope. We re-capture our mortars, and bombard the ♥♥♥♥ out of hilltop before going up there to seize it once for good.

Watch Sputnik blasting VCs with mortars and took them all out of hamburger hill. 10/10 would incendiary and blast VCs again.
