1. go to Library and RIGHT click on your game [L4D2]

2. chose "Properties"

3. In the General tab, find the Launch Options section (the bottom one with blank rectangle or
square)

4. add these 2 command inside

+mat_hdr_level 0

+r_shadowrendertotexture 0

(you also need to give it a space like this "+mat_hdr_level 0 +r_shadowrendertotexture 0")

5. close it and open the game. (it will auto save by itself)

6. unsub the mod on steam workshop (WHILE THE GAME STILL RUNNING)

7. then go to Launch options in "Properties" again

8. delete all the command you just put (on Number 4)

9. close the game and re-open again.

10. enjoy your game like good old time

@tacocat i'm no expert on this kind of stuff, but you should try going to L4D2 local files and delete everything, then reinstall the game

uninstalled it and it didnt remove it, even reinstalling L4D2 didnt help i just wanna get rid of it man ;-;
