Downrush Pro

Originally released in the Halo 1.5 mod for original Xbox, Downrush is heavily inspired by Aerowalk from Quake (originally created by: Mattias "Preacher" Konradsson). The map was designed by PwNyTar & sic, then later improved upon by dds. Ahead of the NHE mod release on original Xbox in 2018, the map underwent another art pass by DSalimander. The changes in this version, which were first seen in Patch Edition in 2020 and more recently in Pro Edition, include different teleporter behavior (one-way only), re-balanced spawn placements and some new pathing. Downrush is one of the most popular custom maps in the competitive 2v2 community and is the first custom map to make its way into the competitive 2v2 tournament lineup.
