Downrush OG

Originally released in the Halo 1.5 mod for original Xbox, Downrush is a map heavily inspired by Aerowalk in Quake (created by: Mattias "Preacher" Konradsson). The map was originally designed by PwNyTar & sic, then later improved upon by dds. Ahead of the NHE mod release on original Xbox in 2018, the map underwent another art pass by DSalimander. Downrush is one of the most popular custom maps in the competitive 2v2 community. The map plays best in Team Slayer, but supports all other gametypes except Race. Downrush is the first custom map to make its way into the competitive 2v2 tournament lineup, and was the first of the Halo 1.5 maps to be ported back to Custom Edition - which saw it receive over 15,000 unique downloads during its first year on the HAC2 automatic map downloading system.
