See-Through Smoothing Designations

This replaces the smoothing and engraving designation graphic with something that's easier to see through.


This mod has to be enabled during world generation setup. There is no officially supported way of installing this mod into an existing world. However, unlike many mods there's nothing in here that would fail to function if inserted into an existing world manually (by copying the files into one of the vanilla folders). Be aware that I have not tested that and can't guarantee that it will work correctly.

Hopefully, Tarn makes a similar change to the base game sometime soon and we can lay this mod to rest :).


You can't see the designation priority on smoothing or engraving jobs while this mod is active. This is a bug in the base game, so there's nothing I can do about it without making the designations less see-through. Aanthony3 has made a version of this mod that splits the difference, which can be found here. There is also a really nice full set of icons by Shkaph that all have reduced opacity.
