All hail DJ Khatep, the Liche Lord! Not to be confused with the Liche King, Arkhan the Black. Or the Liche Lord that Heinrich Kemmler enthralled in order to become the Lichemaster. Or the Liche Lord Karitamen from the WHFRPG 2nd Ed adventure Lure of the Liche Lord. Perhaps it's best he goes by Grand Hierophant, a title which he only shares with the head of the Light Order.

Messengers of Ualatp makes Carrion slightly better, but they're still Carrion. Maybe use them on the Legions of Legend one. Also gives them the Blood Vulture ability.
Soulstrike lets you pretend you're the Empire with large amounts of indirect fire from your Caskets of Souls
Most Ancient of Brethren makes you wish they'd left Khatep with his introductory Hierotitan so you're not waiting until Tier 5 to test out whether this skill actually works or not no I'm not bitter at all
Cult Mysteries for when you want your Necrosphinx to really delete that SEM, your Hierotitan to clear away all those pesky spearmen gathered at its feet, and your Caskets of Skulls to send those light cav running
Keeper of Caskets makes Caskets of Souls even better, with Spell Mastery, Unending Volley, and a Soulblight contact effect because why should Elspeth have all the fun
