Singe's Skills for Tehenhauin, the Prophet of Sotek

Aztec mythology is weird, but interesting. To start with, we're already in the fifth world, having lived through several apocalypses - one of which involved jaguars. Through sacrifice was this final world created, and thus must it be sustained - depending on the myth, either sacrifices to be made to Nanahuatzin to keep the sun moving through the sky or to Huitzilipochtli so he could keep up the strength needed to fend of his endless sibling star-demons who seek to devour the Earth. Aztec mythology is also a lot like a heavy metal album cover. The classic 'drag up a temple and cut out their heart' sacrifices were to these two.

Whilst some of the Old Ones have counterparts in Aztec mythology - Tepok & Quetzocoatl, Tlaloc & Tzunki, Huanchi & Tezcatlipoca - Sotek has no clear mirror, smoking or otherwise. Still though, perhaps the closest analogue is Huitzilipochtli, as heart-sacrifice worship god who acts as a latecomer to the pantheon as the patron of a specific group of a greater whole - the Red-Crested Skinks to the Lizardmen as the Mexica were to the Nahua.

Enough banter, Tehenhauin isn't pronounced ten-in-one, no matter how many people insist it is. Also, it's odd that he wields a kris, the only non-macahuitl, tepoztli or spear type weapon the Lizardmen have.
