Man, I did not think about how Belegar is essentially Thorin Oakenshield.

I've always liked the lord of Clan Ironhammer, cantankerous and stubborn old bastard that he is even by Dwarfen standards. All hail the True King of the Eight Peaks!

(Karak Eight Peaks is probably one of the most interesting parts of the Warhammer setting, acting as great microcosm for the wars under the world between Dwarfs, Skaven, and Night Goblins, and indeed the general futility of the World as a whole, with all sides making progress against each other as they desperately innovate.)

Nine! skills for the King Not Quite Under The Mountain and his ghostly friends. I gave in, and gave Belegar two more skills. Focus on Miners, Rangers, Ironbreakers, Irondrakes, and Hammerers.

Norgrimling Miners makes Miners better for clearing out infantry chaff, and a bit less likely to run from the Battlefield
Eight Peaks Reclaimers makes Rangers more dangerous at range as well as stronger in melee.
Underway Breaching Teams seeks to make Ironbreakers and Irondrakes more manouevrable and even a bit stormtroopery
The Right Tools For The Task gives Rangers all sorts of contact effects for their weapons, all the better to slaughter with.

Ironhammer's Ironhammers makes Hammerers and Ironbreakers stronger in melee
Ancestor's Observations boosts artillery
Stonebeard's Spirit toughens up Miners and Ironbreakers
Spectral Runes of Reinforcements hands out extra armour
Master Rune of Throni Ironbrow is just a great big explosion, based on one battle I had where three armies of Skaven being held at two chokepoints made me realise the importance of chaff-clearance.
